GIVE TIME.....



Lost in my thoughts, I grew
With reality moving away
I relived my past and hurt my wound
My mind said….
    Just Give time

Stuck in a place
No future to look
I fell deep thinking over
My heart said
    Just Give time

Happy with joy,
Finding my place a new
I cried with fear of the unknown
A friendly smile said
    Just Give time

Rejected and refused
Lost hope too soon
Thought of killing the pain
My hobby said
    Just Give time

Beaming with joy
A new life in my womb
Suddenly the heartbeats stopped
The support group said
    Just Give time

Surrounded by perfection
Living up to society scales
Just got sacked
Familiar faces said
   Just give time

Lost all money
Lost all hope
A beaming child at the traffic light said
   Just Give time

Laws changed and my heart elated
Happily held my loved one's arm
Beaten mercilessly by public
An unknown figure picked me up and said
  Just Give time

Beaten and attacked
Feared to leave home
An activist with love said
   Just Give time

Art of living So, I started with my blogging again. Every day I planned to write something beautiful, something extraordinary, something that stood out; so as to tell the world “ I am BACK ”. But, suddenly life took a 360 °  turn and all my plans went down the drain with the new Virus in town. Suddenly, the talk changed from future plans to survival at the time of the pandemic. Quarantine became the new norm, while plans of travel turned to name random names to the rooms of our house. During this sudden shift life became the most valued assets, long lost friends became a daily call and time became a commodity freely available without any restrictions or speed. Bring your own Blessings (BYOB) Let us begin day two of the challenge with the letter ‘B’. I have been thinking a lot about the topic for this one and after many cancellations finalized the above. Now we are mostly aware of BYOB an urbanized version of going Dutch or rather getting your own drinks to the party. This is basically a system of sharing expenses and also giving the sense of being a part of the party. Okay, just kidding it is none of the aforementioned and is the basic way of partying when everyone is practically broke. So, moving on from parties and hangouts. Oh, the nostalgia !
