Bring your own Blessings (BYOB)
Let us begin day two of the challenge with the letter ‘B’. I have been thinking a lot about the topic for this one and after many cancellations finalized the above.
Now we are mostly aware of BYOB an urbanized version of
going Dutch or rather getting your own drinks to the party. This is basically a
system of sharing expenses and also giving the sense of being a part of the
party.
Okay, just kidding it is none of the aforementioned and is
the basic way of partying when everyone is practically broke.
So, moving on from parties and hangouts. Oh, the nostalgia!
Just like we can share the burden so that we can enjoy a
party of a hangout, we can share the burden of sadness and negativity by simply
bringing our blessings with us.
Blessings are a beacon of hope in the vast ocean of
negativity. They are prayers of a better future, a way to assure someone that ‘this too shall pass’
Now, the question is how we can bring our own blessings?
It is simple, just by being a catalyst for positive energy and belief.
Being a catalyst for positivity does not mean that we will
never be faced with hardship or negativity. It also does not imply that we are
a person having a life filled with bed or roses.
It simply means we believe in
our strength to conquer all.
It also means that negativity might bring us down
but we know how to stand up, dust ourselves and try again to seek the light in
dark days.
It also means that we do believe that the blessings we have so
selflessly shared have a ripple effect and will return to us in the times we
least expect it.
When we believe, we see a clearer version of everything around
us, we see the good in others and beauty in the surroundings. Belief changes
our thinking and once we have a better picture of life; we look forward to
sharing it. We become empathetic, kind and considerate and we start attracting a
tribe that helps us grow and progress.
Simply put; life is a miracle for some, practical for some and
difficult and frustrating for some…but in the end we only have ONE.
So, the only way to make the best out of it is to be a carrier of blessings and
to share them with everyone around, so that together we can share the burden of each other in the direst situations.
So; promise yourself to keep an invisible box of blessings
inside you and share it freely; you never know that it might just be that part
of hope which can ignite life in someone’s heart.
Go ahead and Bring Your Own Blessings….so that we all can
enjoy life with positivity and a sense of being one.

count your blessings. Be the blessing other people count on.” Anonymous
