is the last letter in the alphabet. The one that states the conclusion. At the end of my first ever challenge of blogging the conclusion has been pretty good. While I embarked on the journey to learn and explore; it also made me realize how vast the universe of thoughts is. With every letter I wrote, I grew with my expression, my enthusiasm, and a sense of achievement. While every day pushed me to think more and observe around, it also taught me the following: Express honestly Appreciate abundantly Believe endlessly Work continuously Read ferociously I started as a novice, with a fear of being mediocre. I had my doubts and umpteen number of questions. Though I still believe that I have a huge task of exploration ahead, but I can confidently say my belief in myself has become stronger. I still fear, but I am not afraid to take the risk. I have grown as a writer and that what matters the most to me. This has been an experience that has give...

Mirror is not your only reflection

Recently, we all have been packed with loads of events. We celebrated women’s day, witnessed people power through election results and then completed it with bright and happy colors on Holi. I came across many words during this time period some of them being equality, empowerment, peace, togetherness, humanity, trustworthiness et cetera. The emotions portrayed were beautiful, the messages spread were a delight to grasp and read. But, what bugged me most was that no one talked in depth about the underlying factor of all…RESPECT. Life is beautiful for some and not so beautiful for others. Everyone has a different view of it. Those who see beauty in life are the ones who cherish each moment of it despite of its oddities. While some may not be able to see beyond the negativity of it and hence, unable to see its beauty. In life you may fall in any of the two above categories or you may shift yourself from one to another over a period of time. We have people around us to share our sorrows and double our happiness.  But, at times we fall prey to self-loathing and inferiority complex. We may avoid sharing our feelings with the fear of being mocked or judged upon. We may consider ourselves as a misfit to our society or feel as a failure.  These feelings lead to many consequen...

New Year, New You?

Each year when the clock strikes 12 on 31 st of December, people welcome a new year with open arms and heart. Some people make new resolutions; some new promises while some new targets. But, overall we all feel that it is a new start. The question is…is it really a new year, yes; the date changes, we throw our old calendars and replace them with new ones. But what makes us believe that it is a new year? New Year symbolizes new start, a beginning and new chances. We as a human always strive to do our best in whatever we do; we dedicate ourselves to our goals, our aspirations and/or our relationships. But at times we feel that our complete devotion is also not enough. We may fall in the trap of believing that we may be good for one thing, but; not for another. For e.g.: we may have achieved our best in our careers, but are emotionally drained due to lack of nurturing our relationships. So, when we get another chance to rewrite the wrongs, we take it and promise ourselves to impr...
