Standstill

Sometimes in life…we reach a point where we feel things are moving fast…very fast. We see people getting successful, some getting married while you are just on the edge of being still. You are not moving…maybe your past is chaining you and pulling you back or the fear of future is too big to move ahead.
We all go through a point when we ask ourselves….is that it? Are we going to be lonely and still forever? We fear we might get lost in the crowd, our friends might go, we will be the unknown at a party or a social media platform.
We lose momentum, we lose confidence…..we even lose the sight of who we are.
At that moment of time, we become vulnerable to making wrong or big devastating decisions.
But what is necessary and very difficult is to wait….
To think that it might be the calm before the storm, where everything is still……everything is moving in other direction and THE STORM IS ABOUT TO STRIKE.
But when that storm passes by everything changes, new places are created and you see a new face of everything.
So, standstill is not that bad you see…you might be afraid, depressed, worried and anxious. This is normal. You might be losing it all right now…..or dare to be you, but, move ahead with confidence about yourself and your beliefs. Believe in the person you are , the one that lies in your heart and not in the eyes of people around you.
Pull away the chains of past, don’t regret them; embrace them as part of your life.
Dare to choose a different path, move out of that comfort zone of yours, because to change your life, you have to get the force of yourself.
 Friends you lose, negatives you listen to, fights you have…are all part of it.
Remember things need to shift to make place for a better one. So does standstill….grasp all the movement around you, embrace it…and always know that….everyone has a standstill and this is the time to know the real you and the reality of people around you.
Stand up; promise to fight once again with strength and don’t lose hope because
Standstill and storms are part of everyone’s life but those who tame them become true legends.

Art of living So, I started with my blogging again. Every day I planned to write something beautiful, something extraordinary, something that stood out; so as to tell the world “ I am BACK ”. Bring your own Blessings (BYOB) Let us begin day two of the challenge with the letter ‘B’. I have been thinking a lot about the topic for this one and after many cancellations finalized the above. Now we are mostly aware of BYOB an urbanized version of going Dutch or rather getting your own drinks to the party. This is basically a system of sharing expenses and also giving the sense of being a part of the party.
